Cibus, the International Food Exhibition, now in its 18th edition, returns from 9 May. It will be a good occasion to rediscover Italian cooking, and that’s not all. There are many Italian companies that export the quality of the farmer tradition throughout the world. Coelsanus, a company that produces pickles, vegetables preserved in oil, and many other products, is one example. Formed in Vicenza in 1955, Coelsanus is the leader in the export of preserved vegetables that respect the rural methods of times gone by. Its success comes from the selection of fresh vegetables that are cooked as soon as they arrive in the factory. Cibus is not only a window on Italian cooking, but an exchange between cultures that also creates business opportunities.
